We are plaesed to have Lisa Conroy, an ex Chaffey-Burke teacher and current district literacy teacher, joining us to talk about the science behind learning how to read, the 5 pillars of reading instruction and what teachers do at school to teach children how to read and what families can do to at home to help their child learn to read.

This year’s student led conferences are coming up on Wednesday, April 22 from 3:00 through 7:00. Students will be dismissed at 2:00 to give staff time to prepare for the conferences.

Student led conferences are a time for your child to share their successes and stretches with you.

Please use the link below to access the Bookings site to schedule a time slot to visit. Each time slot is 30 minutes long and multiple families can book each time. You will need a separate time slot for each of your children. Please use the drol-down box to select your child’s teacher and then book an available time.

Please note that these conferences are student-Led conferences, not parent-teacher conferences.
