Core Competencies are processed that teachers are using to engage students more and more in their learning. Children are being asked to engage, reflect and get feedback on how well they are doing in these areas. Students are then being asked to self evaluate in these areas.

Reporting with these in mind , as well as the redesigned Curriculum and content for every grade level has also facilitated a change in teaching. As teacher are less worried about “covering the curriculum” and can go deeper in to curriculum looking at them with the competencies and other processes highlighted in the redesigned curriculum  at all grade levels
